Review: Open Hearts

Open Hearts Open Hearts by Eve Dangerfield
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm already a huge fan of Eve Dangerfield's writing, and once again, this one did not disappoint! Open Hearts tells the story of Ashley, a girl with a bad track record when it comes to dating men. Now that her body clock is ticking, reminding her that she wants a baby, she decides to forego the baby daddy altogether and just go it alone. While searching for the right donor, she happens upon Dean, the lovable manchild friend of her sister's boyfriend (now that's a mouthful!).

Dean is everything she has sworn against. He's easily distracted, a bit of a hopeless case when it comes to money, and he can't cook to save himself. But... he's so freakin adorable! He is probably one of my favourite male characters. He's not your typical alpha male. He has quirks. And the way he feels for Ash is undeniable.

I really enjoyed this book. It was hot and steamy, but also had some real pull-at-your heartstrings moments. Eve Dangerfield is definitely one of my best discoveries this year!
